The full set of Ajay Devgn movies from 1991 to 2022 is presented here. He is regarded as one of the most successful Bollywood actors of all time, and he is well-known for his acting abilities. Devgn also owns the production house Ajay Devgn films, which was founded in 2000. He made his directorial debut with U Me Aur Hum in 2008. Since 1999, he has been married to film actress Kajol.

Devgn has shown up in over 100 films and won several awards, including four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Indian government gave him the country’s fourth-highest civilian honour Padma Shri.

Devgn started his acting career in 1991 with Phool Aur Kaante.  He became known as an action hero after appearing in films such as Jigar (1992), Sangram (1993), Dilwale (1994), Diljale (1996), and Kachche Dhaage (1996).

He made his acting debut in Phool Aur Kaante, for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Jigar (1992), a Bollywood martial arts film co-starring Karisma Kapoor, was his next film. It was released on the Diwali holiday and quickly became the year’s seventh-highest-grossing film.

Devgn appeared in Harry Baweja’s love action film Dilwale in 1994. The film was the 10th highest-grossing film of the year. Suhaag with Akshay Kumar was his next film. The plot revolved around two friends. Ajay Sharma was played by Devgn. Suhaag was the year’s seventh highest-grossing film.

Devgn appeared in the 1996 action film Jung alongside Mithun Chakraborty, Rambha, and Aditya Pancholi. His next film was Jaan, an action film starring Twinkle Khanna. He then appeared in Harry Baweja’s film Diljale as Shaka, a terrorist character.

Devgn co-starred with Twinkle Khanna in the flop movie Itihaas in 1997. Indra Kumar’s romantic comedy Ishq, starring Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Kajol, was his next release. In this popular film, Devgn portrayed Ajay, a rich boy who falls in love with a poor girl (Kajol). The film earned 30 crore rupees at the box office.

In 1998, Devgn got his 1st National Film Best Actor Award for his acting skills in Mahesh Bhatt’s drama Zakhm. Devgn then appeared in Major Saab alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Sonali Bendre as a military officer. The film was a positive experience and become the tenth highest-grossing film of the year.

After that, he co-starred with Kajol in Anees Bazmee’s second movie, the romantic drama Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, a remake of the American film French Kiss from 1995. This film earns 30 Cr at the box office.

Devgn appeared in the 1999 romantic drama Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, playing Vanraj, a man who tries to help his wife Aishwarya Rai meet up with her love interest Salman Khan. Devgan’s career was successfully transformed by Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Devgn appeared in Harry Baweja’s film Deewane in 2000. The film performed poorly at the box office.  During the same year, Devgn co-starred with Kajol seen in his first home production film Raju Chacha. The film was a successful hit at the box office.

Devgn appeared in another successful Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke in 2001,  alongside Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta. Devgn co-starred with Urmila Matondkar in Ram Gopal Verma’s horror film Bhoot in 2003. The film was well received by critics and did great at the box office.

Devgn appeared in Rajkumar Santoshi’s action drama movie Khakee in 2004, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and Akshay Kumar. On January 23, 2004, the movie was released. It received favorable responses and went on to become one of 2004’s highest-grossing films.

Devgn then worked with Rituparno Ghosh on the relationship drama movie Raincoat, starring Aishwarya Rai. The movie is based on O. Henry’s novel The Gift of the Magi. Raincoat received huge critical acclaim and won the National Film Award for Best Hindi Feature Film.

Devgn appeared in Rohit Shetty’s film Golmaal in 2006. It was followed by two sequels, Golmaal Returns (2008) and Golmaal again (2017).

Devgn again appeared in Rohit Shetty’s third film, Sunday, in 2008. He then co-starred with Kajol in his directorial debut film U Me Aur Hum.  The film did well at the box office and got positive reviews from critics for both his performance and direction.

Devgn appeared in the successful and profitable comedy film Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? in 2010, alongside Paresh Rawal and Konkona Sen Sharma. Also this year he appeared in Prakash Jha’s political thriller film Raajneeti.

Drishyam, directed by Nishikant Kamat, starred Devgn in 2015. The film received good reviews, with The Times of India’s Meena Iyer awarding it four out of five stars.

Devgn appeared in his own production film Shivaay, which was released around Diwali 2016. Shivaay is a romantic action film. Shivaay received mixed responses and earned over 146 crores.

In the 2020 film Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior, directed by Om Raut, starred Devgn in the lead role of 17th-century army commander Tanaji Malusare. The film was released on January 10, 2020, and won three National Film Awards.

In 2021, he co-starred with Sanjay Dutt, Sharad Kelkar, Nora Fatehi, and Sonakshi Sinha in the period drama Bhuj: The Pride of India. Devgn made his OTT debut in 2022 with the Rudra web series on Disney+ Hotstar. In the same year, he released his third directorial effort, Runway 34. The film received favorable reviews.   He also appeared in Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR (film), where his characters received a lot of praise.
