Nandamuri Kalyanram, a Telugu actor, is prepared for his upcoming film, Amigos, following the huge success of his most recent release, Bimbisara, a fantasy action movie that ended up being one of the biggest Telugu blockbusters this year.

Amigos, which is billed as an action thriller and for which Rajendra Reddy also wrote the story and the script, is his first film to be directed.

Although the specifics of his character are being kept a secret, the power actor plays the lead in the movie. His role is undoubtedly going to be one of the many action heroes. He will appear in “David: The British Secret Agent” in addition to Amigos.

Ashika Ranganath, a Sandalwood actress, will play the film’s female lead. She gained notoriety for her performances in the films Crazy Boy and Raambo 2. She makes her Telugu film debut with this movie.

The second wave of COVID-19 interrupted the movie’s filming, which had started in April 2021. The filmmakers announced that the film’s production is nearing its conclusion in October 2022. Ghibran composed the music for the movie, and Sounder Rajan served as its cinematographer and editor, respectively.

The movie, which premiered in February 2022, was given the working title NKR 19 because it is Kalyanram’s 19th feature. The movie’s new title, “Amigos,” which is a Spanish term for “friend,” was unveiled alongside a poster that showed Kalyanram in three different looks.

Also inscribed across the posters is the proverb “They say when you meet somebody that looks just like you, you die.”
