Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is a coming-up superhero film based on the DC Comics book hero Aquaman. The film is produced by DC Films, The Safran Company, and Atomic Monster Productions.

This is the sequel to the film Aquama (2018), which earned $1.148 billion worldwide and become one of the highest-grossing DCEU films. Also were in the 5th position of highest box office collection that year. DC Extended Universe (DCEU) already released the 14th film and this will be the 15th.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Release Date

After many delays, the film has been scheduled to be released in theatres on Christmas Day 2022 butĀ  Warner Bros. pushed the release date of Aquaman 2 to 25 December 2022, because of releasing the DC’s Black Adam.

About the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

James Wan directed the film, heĀ also invested in the project with Peter Safran. The screenplay was written by David Leslie Johnson- McGoldrick. The story was co-written by Wan and McGoldrick, Jason Mamoa, and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett.

The plot revolves around the sea king Aquaman, who sets out to lead the underwater empire of Atlantis and prevent his half-brother, King Orm, from joining forces with the seven ocean kingdoms in order to destroy the human places.
