Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is involved in a legal battle with actress Upasana Singh, well-known for her role as Bua in Kapil Sharma Show.

Upasana Singh, the producer of the coming up soon Punjabi film ‘Bai Ji Kuttange,’ has claimed that Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu has broken the contract.

About Controversy

On Thursday, Upasana Singh filed a civil lawsuit against Harnaaz in the Chandigarh district court, complaint alleges breach of contract in the coming up soon Punjabi film ‘Bai Ji Kuttange,’ in which Harnaaz plays the lead role.

Harnaaz has signed an agreement with Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP clearly states that she will be present in person and virtually for the film’s advancement, but Harnaaz has rejected it.

Upasana Reaction on Harnaaz Sandhu

Actress Upasana Singh clarified that she decided to give Harnaaz a chance when she was not Miss Universe. Upasana also¬†mentioned that she spent a large sum of money on this film. “This is not a low-budget film,”. She also claimed to have pushed back the film’s premiere date from May 27 to August 19.

Upasana also clarified that she gave Harnaaz the opportunity to act in the film ‘Bai ji Kuttange,’ and that she also produced ‘Yaara Diyan Poo Baran,’ in which Harnaaz is the leading lady.

Dev Kharoud plays the role of ‘Bai ji’ in the film, and with this film, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and Nanak Singh, the son of actress Upasana Singh, will make their acting debuts. Dev Kharoud, Nanak Singh, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, and Gurpreet Ghuggi will play the lead roles in this action-comedy film.

Sabby Suri, Hobby Dhaliwal, Simrat Kaur Randhawa, Darasing Khurana, and Hadelin De Ponteves also play the role in this upcoming movie.

The trailer for the film was posted on August 1, 2022, and it has received nearly 2.3 lakh views to date. the movie trailer has received mostly positive feedback. The film will be released in theatres on August 19, 2022.
