1- Karan Johar

Let’s start with the most recent event that everyone found shocking. On October 10, filmmaker Karan Johar released his final tweet, informing everyone that he was quitting Twitter. Karan Johar frequently finds himself in scandals and has experienced internet abuse, sometimes for his films and other times for “Nepotism.”

Making room for only more positive energies, and this is the first step in that direction, he tweeted. “Farewell, Twitter!” The reason for his leaving Twitter is plain to see. It’s the animosity and venom he has long endured online, especially since the nepotism controversy became out.

2 Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha, the “Dabangg” girl from Bollywood, is next on the list. She chose to stop using social media in order to avoid abuse. After Sushant Singh Rajput passed away unexpectedly in 2020, she stopped using Twitter and told her admirers on Instagram.

3- Aamir Khan

After his birthday in 2021, Bollywood’s “Mr. Perfectionist” made the decision to stop using social media. He informed his followers of this via a note, explaining that he had made the decision to stop using social media in order to concentrate on his own work and maintain his commitment to his art.

4- Aayush Sharma

Actor Aayush Sharma, Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, too made the decision to suspend his Twitter account because of poisonous content. The “Antim: The Finale Truth” actor tweeted “Khuda hafiz” in response to the ugly and herd mentality.

5- Shashank Khaitan

Shashank Khaitan, the director of “Dhadak,” was another Bollywood celebrity who made the decision to stop using Twitter in the wake of SSR’s tragic passing. The director made the decision to suspend his Twitter account in the midst of the nepotism controversy, which was a major topic at the time. He referred to it as a haven for hatred and negativity.

6- Saqib Saleem

Saqib Saleem, an actor well known for “Mere Dad Ki Maruti” and the brother of Bollywood star Huma Qureshi, has made the decision to stop using Twitter owing to poisonous content. He mentioned lack of friendliness and bullying as the key causes of his leaving the platform.

7- Zaheer Iqbal

Aspired Bollywood actor Zaheer Iqbal, who debuted in the film “Notebook” with Pranutan Bahl, also made the decision to manage social media. He remained mum about the rationale, though. Actress Sonakshi Sinha is rumoured to be dating the actor. Both of them, however, remained silent about this.
