Cirkus is an upcoming Hindi comedy film directed by Bollywood’s ace director Rohit Shetty, based on the 1982 Hindi film Angoor, which was itself based on Shakespeare’s play “The Comedy of Errors” and directed by veteran lyricist and filmmaker Gulzar. Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma played the lead roles.

Circus is produced in association with Reliance Entertainment by Rohit Shetty’s Rohit Shetty Picturez and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. In terms of technical work, Jomon T. John is in charge of cinematography, and Bunty Nagi is in charge of editing. Devi Sri Prasad a.k.a DSP, well-known in the Telugu film industry, composed the film’s music and background score.

the film stars Bollywood’s powerhouse Ranveer Singh, who will also play a double role. The actor is collaborating with director Rohit Shetty for the second time, following their super successful cop drama film Simmba, which was released in December 2018. After four years, the actor-director team is ready to re-create the magic.

Also, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma are in pivotal roles, with Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn making cameo appearances. Siddharth Jadhav, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, and Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Brijendra Kala, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murali Sharma, and Tiku Talsania also appear in the film.

According to the film’s creators. This film will be released during Christmas 2022, and the grand theatrical release date has been set for December 23, 2022.

The film was supposed to be released on December 31, 2022, but due to a production delay, it was pushed back a year. Along with the release date, the filmmakers released the film’s first look poster, which features Ranveer Singh in dual roles alongside the rest of the cast. Take a look at this:

About The Sirkus Film

The film’s plot centres on a circus performer and his gymnast pals who work for a large circus business and are balancing their personal lives while attempting to revive the public’s interest in the long-gone circus culture. It will also feature two sets of identical twins who were split up at birth and later reunited, causing confusion and amusement.
