CBSE CTET 2022: The preliminary notification of CTET i.e. CTET has been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The 16th Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. CTET (CTET) will be conducted by CBSE in the form of CBT i.e. Computer Based Test. CTET Exam 2022 will be conducted by CBSE in 20 languages.
16th seat to be held in December
The 16th CTET exam will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education in December 2022. The detailed notification regarding the dates of the CTET exam will be issued by CBSE on the official website ctet.nic.in later. In that notification, information like exam, syllabus, language, eligibility details, eligibility criteria, exam fee, exam city and important dates, etc. will be available.
The online application window is likely to start on July 20
According to the sources, the online application window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test in December 2022 for the December session is likely to start from July 20, 2022. Whereas the online application process will be open till August 19, 2022. CTET 2022 exam is expected to be held from November 15 to December 16, 2022. Candidates preparing for Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 should prepare themselves and get ready to apply for CTET Exam 2022.
A separate fee will be applicable for one and both the papers
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000/- for one paper and Rs 1,200/- for both papers. Whereas, SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates will have to pay Rs 500/- for one paper as an application fee and Rs 600/- for both papers. Now, with the release of the CTET 2022 Preliminary Notification, it can be expected that the application process will start very soon.
New Updates of CTET 2022 Teaching Post
The CTET test is given twice a year by CBSE. The first exam is given in July, while the second one is given in December. Candidates who perform well on CTET Paper 1 are eligible to be hired as teachers for grades 1 through 5. While those who perform well in Paper 2 will be eligible to be hired as teachers for grades 6 through 8.
Candidates who pass this exam are eligible to apply for teaching positions at Army Schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, and Navodaya Vidyalayas across the nation. CTET is now recognized for life rather than for seven years.
