Emraan Hashmi’s full name is Emraan Anwar Hashmi and was born on 24 March 1979 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.
After completing his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai, Imran worked as an assistant director in director Vikram Bhatt’s horror movie Raaz (2002).
Next year he started his acting career in the movie Footpath (2003) directed by Vikram Bhatt alongside Bipasha Basu and Aftab Shivdasani.
In 2004, he appeared with Mallika Sherawat in director Anurag Basu’s romantic movie Murder and became known as the Bollywood serial Kisser all over India.
After this Imran worked in many Bollywood movies and his movies include Zeher (2005), Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005), Kalyug (2005), Aksar (2006), Gangster (2006), Jannat (2008), Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009), Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010) and Jannat 2 (2012) impressed the audience a lot.
Filmmakers also like to cast him in horror movies and some of his hit horror movies are Raaz 3 (2012), Ek Thi Daayan (2013), and Dybbuk (2021).
Since 15 January 2014, Imran had to face many difficulties as his son Ayaan (born on 3 February 2010) was battling with first-stage cancer. Finally, after a lot of treatment, on January 2019, the doctors declared his son cancer free.
For some time Hashmi is choosing Bollywood movie projects very carefully and wants to work on fresh stories. Some of his big movies are ready to hit the theaters this year.

Release Date: 10 November 2022
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Imran will be seen in the role of Villain in this action movie and Katrina Kaif will also be seen in the lead role along with Salman Khan. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie will release on 10 November 2022.

The shooting of this military action movie Ground Zero by the popular director of Marathi movie Tejas Vijay Deoskar has been completed and most of the shooting of this movie has been done in Kashmir.

4- Father’s Day
Release Date: 2023 Last
Based on the real story of detective Suryakant Bhande Patil, this movie is being produced by Shantanu Bagchi Direct and Kalpana Udayavar along with Priya Gupta.
Emraan plays the lead role in the film and will be seen rescuing 120 children from kidnappers. The movie is in progress and will be ready to release in theaters by 2023 end
