Enola Holmes, a movie directed by Harry Bradbeer and written by Jack Thorne, is based on Nancy Springer’s young adult novel series of the same name. The 2020 film Enola Holmes will have this movie as its sequel.

Critics gave the first instalment, which was made available on Netflix in September 2020, favourable reviews. Over the course of its first four weeks on Netflix, it was watched by an estimated 76 million homes, making it one of the most popular original Netflix movies.

A sequel was confirmed to be in the works in April 2021 following the success of the first movie. Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the lead role in the movie, admitted that up until she was on set, she had only considered making one movie. She expressed her desire to reprise the role because she enjoyed portraying the part so much.

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, the movie’s creators unveiled the second teaser, in which Enola is pulled to a case that her brother also happens to be working on. Enola skillfully handles foes and others who are quick to condemn her based on her attire and fancy accent, while Sherlock bemoans her fighting and puzzle-solving abilities.

Enola Holmes is the main character in the movie. She establishes her own agency, following in the footsteps of her renowned brother Sherlock Holmes, only to discover that being a hired female detective is more difficult than it first appears.

On September 24, 2022, the movie’s debut trailer was released.

Enola Holmes 2 will debut on OTT juggernaut Netflix on November 4, 2022. It was produced by Mary Parent, Alex Gracia, Ali Mendes, Millie Bobby Brown, and Paige Brown under the auspices of Legendary Pictures and PCMA Productions.
