Fall Web Series Release Date, Star Cast, Trailer & Plot

The OTT powerhouse Disney+Hotstar always delivers viewers engaging material, and it has produced a number of successful series in different categories like Acton, Comedy, Romance & Thriller.

Again, The platform has revealed its newest Hotstar Special series, Fall, which is an official translation into Tamil of the six-part, award-winning Canadian miniseries Vertige. Written by Michelle Allen and produced by Productions Pixcom Inc., Fall is a six-part series that aired on Series+ in 2012 and is an official adaptation into Tamil in India.


Anjali, an actress with experience in OTT projects, plays the lead character in the series named Divya. She has previously appeared in series like Navarasa, Jhansi, and Bahishkarna as well as films like Balupa, Masala, Geethanjali, and Dictator.

Additionally, SPB Charan, Sonia Agarwal, Santhosh Pratap, Namita Krishnamoorthy, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Poornima Bhagyaraj have significant parts in the film The Fall.

Siddarth Ramaswamy is the series’ director and also serves as the show’s director of photography. Kishan C. Chezhiyan and Ajesh are the show’s editor and soundtrack composer, respectively.


The series makers didn’t announce the release date yet but the teaser has been released. The Hotstar special thriller will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi & Bengali language.

The show centers on Divya, a young woman who attempted suicide but failed after losing her memories for 24 hours. She attempts to put together what actually happened, but as she uncovers secrets, lies, and horrible truth buried deep in her memory, she comes to the realization that she cannot trust anybody, not even her closest friends and family.

The official account of Disney+ Hotstar already revealed the first poster on 17 September 2022 on Twitter with the caption- “Trust no one, not even those closest to you.”
