Gaalodu OTT Release Date, Box Office Report & Reviews

The large-scale action-entertainment movie Gaalodu, which was directed by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla, has just been released in theaters and is receiving a generally favorable reception from both critics and viewers.

On November 18, 2022, the Telugu movie starring Sudheer Ananda, also known as Sudigali Sudheer, had a strong start at the box office. Sudheer, who gained fame for his role in the television series Jabardasth, makes his cinematic debut with this film.

In the movie, Gehna Sippy portrays Raja, a young kid, and Sudheer Anand plays Shukla, his love interest. In addition to them, the movie also features important roles for Sapthagiri, Shakalaka Shankar, Prudvi, and Satya Krishna.

GAALODU PLOT

The story of the movie centers on Raju, often known as Gaalodu, a carefree person from the village, whose life was going well until he got into a fight with the son of the sarpanch of his village and accidentally murdered him.

He escaped to Hyderabad out of fear of the consequences of the murder he had done, where he fell in love with Shukla, a local who employed him as her driver. Later, she too felt feelings for him, but her father refused to approve of their relationship. The main plot of the novel is how the pair overcome multiple challenges in their relationship.

GAALODU BOX OFFICE REPORT & REVIEWS

The film had a strong box office debut and a positive audience reaction, with all acclaim going to Sudheer’s excellent performance with his acting, dancing, and action sequences. However, its script and plot were criticized.

The film drew large crowds on its first day in numerous Telugu-speaking states and grossed more over Rs. 1 crore. It earned roughly Rs. 1.14 crore and Rs. 1.61 crore on the second and third days, respectively. The film’s worldwide gross collection is Rs. 4.06 crore, and it is expected to become a smash blockbuster shortly.

According to media rumors, two major digital streaming companies, Aha and Amazon Prime Video, are negotiating an agreement for the film’s post-theater OTT rights. They have yet to finalize the agreement between these two.
