Mahesh Surapaneni is the director of the next Telugu psychological action thriller movie called Hunt. It is an official Telugu version of the 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police, which was directed by Rosshan Andrews and starred Prithviraj Sukumaran in the title role.
The Malayalam movie ended up being the year’s most impressive box office hit. The movie received numerous honours, including the Kerala State Film Award for Best Screenplay, and Prithviraj’s performance was hailed as the best of his career.
The Telugu remake will now entertain its audience, and it will be interesting to watch whether or not it gets the same reaction. V Ananda Prasad is in charge of producing the planned remake under the company name Bhavya Creations.
Hunt Film Star Cast
Sudheer Babu, an actor and Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law, plays Arjun, a police officer, in the title role of the movie. He will portray a cop for the second time following the 2020 Telugu action film V, which features Nani.
It might be claimed that the part of a police officer suited him well because of how effectively he performed as one in the movie V, which won over many of his fans. The upcoming movie, which also stars Manjula Ghattamaneni, Meka Srikanth, and Bharath Srinivasan, is the 16th in Sudheer Babu’s career.
Hunt Film Teaser
The teaser for this psychological action thriller was supposed to be released in September 2022, but it was delayed because of the unexpected deaths of Mahesh Babu’s mother, Indira Devi, and Sudheer Babu’s mother-in-law. Finally, on October 3, 2022, it was made public.
A doctor says at the beginning of the 1.5-minute clip that Sudheer Babu has a dual personality disorder. “He was Arjun A and You are Arjun B,” she can be heard stating. They share the same body like two different people.
In the role of Arjun, a police officer played by Sudheer Babu, an accident causes him to lose some of his memory. Aside from this, the teaser features some intense action scenes and Sudheer can be seen displaying his lean figure.
Arul Vincent is the director of photography on the Mahesh Surapaneni-directed movie, and Prawin Pudi is the film’s editor. Ghibran composed the music for the movie. Vivek Annamalai is in charge of the art division.
