India Lockdown OTT Release Date (Zee5), Trailer, Star Cast

The renowned director of Bollywood, Madhur Bhandarkar, will helm a new film named “India Lockdown,” which is based on some true stories from the COVID-19 lockdown, which affected the lives of numerous families both in India and around the world.

The National Award-winning director is renowned for producing films with a strong female lead, such as Calendar Girls, Chandni Bar, Heroine, and Fashion. A female-centric movie with Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead, the director’s most recent release, Babli Bouncer, has been making a big impact. On Disney+Hotstar, it debuted on September 23, 2022.

Films like Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, Jail, Traffic Signal, Corporate, and Page 3 were also directed by Bhnadarkar.

India Lockdown: Resetting Lives, his upcoming film, shares the same title and appears to be a tremendously engaging and relatable story for the common people. The full shoot was finished on March 8, 2021.

The movie, which is being made by Bhandarkar Entertainment, Pranav Jain, Dhaval, and Akshay Jayantilal Gada, will feature some accounts of common people who battled to get by during the COVID-19 lockdown.

When discussing the movie, Madhur Bhandarkar said that it was the result of his observations and that it would show the unfiltered experiences of genuine people from diverse walks of life. He believes that the movie will have an impact on many people in some way.

India Lockdown, sponsored by Dr. Jayantilal of Pen Studios, Bhandarkar Entertainment, and PJ Motion Pictures, will be available exclusively on Zee5 on December 2, 2022. So mark your calendars, because the official teaser has been released on November 8th.

Zee5 announced the premiere date alongside an intriguing poster depicting the main cast shackled with shakles, emphasising the film’s premise.

One of the lead actors in the movie is actor Prateik Babbar, who was most recently featured in the Netflix film Cobalt Film. He has prominent roles in the movie with Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Sai Tamhankar, and Prakash Belawadi. The story for the movie was written by Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi.
