Jack Ryan Season 3 Amazon Prime Video Release Date, Trailer, Star Cast

The third season of the wildly popular political thriller web series Jack Ryan starring John Krasinski will shortly begin streaming on the online service Amazon Prime. In February 2019, eight months before the premiere of season 2, season 3 was renewed.

For the uninitiated, Jack Ryan is a political thriller web series that has two seasons and an IMDb rating of 8 out of 10. It has acquired enormous popularity throughout the world. The characters in the show are based on works by American author Tom Clancy.

The television show follows CIA analyst Jack Ryan’s transition from a desk job to the field. As a result of discovering a warning of a worldwide battle, Ryan is now the target of both his own CIA and a terrorist group in the third season.

According to an interview with Krasinski, who also serves as the show’s executive producer, the third season’s filming was finished in May, and it was planned to launch on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video in 21 December  2022:

We should also mention that the fourth season of the show was just cancelled by Amazon. The fourth season is supposedly in the process of being filmed. However, there are several predictions that spin-off shows may start airing on the platform by 2023.

According to reports, Michael Pena of Narcos: Mexico fame will make an appearance in the final episode of the third season before playing a major role in the fourth.

Wendell Pierce and Jack Krasinski are also returning actors for season 3 Michael Kelly (Mike November), the boss of Jack Ryan (James Greer), Betty Gabriel (Elizabeth Wright), James Cosmo (Luca), Peter Guinness (Petr), Nina Hoss (Alena), and Alexei Mavelov round out the roster (Alexei).

The first and second seasons each had eight episodes, and the third season will have eight episodes as well.

The show is a collaboration between Skydance TV, Paramount TV Studios, and Amazon Studios. Andres Form, Allyson Seeger, Vaun Wilmott, Brad Fuller, Tom, David, Dand Golberg, Bill Bost, Carlton Cuse, and Mace Neufeld served as executive producers.
