Jana Gana Mana Release Date, Trailer, Teaser, Star Cast & More Updates
South’s popular actors Vijay Deverakonda and Pooja Hegde are working in Puri Jagannadh’s Tamil military action movie Jana Gana Mana (JGM).
During an interview, Devarakonda said that he is very excited about this movie and is going to do such a role for the first time and also said that I am sure people will like this movie very much.
Its title was announced by the makers in April 2016 and Mahesh Babu was going to play the lead role but Mahesh refused to work in the movie even before the shooting started.
Then in March 2022, Deverakonda was signed as the main lead, and filmmakers started work on the movie in June 2022.
After the release of Devarakonda and Jagannadh’s flop Liger (25 August 2022), they again got busy shooting for Jaan Gaan Mana and Devarakonda also took some training with an Indian officer whose image you can see below:

According to some media reports, Mahesh Babu was initially supposed to play the lead role but for some reason, there was no consensus between the actor and the makers. Then Yash was approached for the lead role but the makers finally joined hands with Vijay Devarakonda.
Vijay Deverakonda is playing the role of an Indian military officer in this movie while Pooja Hedge will be seen in the role of his girlfriend and Janhvi Kapoor is also playing an important role.
Director and producer Nayan Rosh T is going to make his acting debut through JGM and he is also very famous for singing the Onnu Chirikku song with Vidhu Pratap in 2019.
Information about other actors is yet to be shared by the makers.

Puri Jagannadh, who directed mostly Telugu movies, has also directed 3 Bollywood movies including Shart: The Challenge (2004), Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap (2011), and Liger (2022) but these movies did not do well at the box office.
In front of the media, Puri expressed happiness to work with Devarakonda again after Liger and said that “he is going to direct and produce the Telugu movie Jana Gana Mana” written by himself. Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally, and Singa Rao are also producing it under the banner of Puri Connect and Srikara Studios.

The filmmakers have announced the release date of the movie so get ready to watch it in theaters on December 2023 in your favorite language Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Earlier Jaana Gana Mana was scheduled to be released on 3rd August 2023 but the makers have postponed the date and now its new release date will be announced very soon.
This film will be available to watch on the Ott platform after 2 months of coming to the theater, but its digital rights are yet to be taken through an online streaming service. Any one of Amazon Prime, Netflix, or Disney Hotstar can buy the rights to this film.
