Back in December, Deadline reported that John Wick: Chapter 4 was being shot in various locations around the world, and that production was halted in Japan due to an increase in Omicron cases.
The first official image for the next installment in the popular Hitman franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4, has been revealed. Lionsgate shared the image on Twitter, which shows a black-clad Keanu Reeves sitting on an altar with candles surrounding him.

The film also stars Donnie Yen, Laurence Fishburne, Bill Skarsgard, and Ian McShane in addition to Reeves. Chad Stahelski, who directed the first three films, also directed the fourth. The film is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Stahelski, with Reeves and Louise Rosner serving as executive producers.

On March 24, 2023, John Wick Chapter 4 will be released in theatres. The fourth film in the franchise is a direct sequel to the 2019 film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, which concluded with John Wick and The Bowery King (Keanu Reeves’ Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne) collaborating against the evil High Table.
