John Wick chapter 4 Release Date, Trailer, Star Cast, and more Information

The fourth film in the wildly successful American Neo-noir action thriller John Wick series, dubbed John Wick: Chapter 4 or JW4, is soon to be released.

The first instalment, titled John Wick, was made by screenwriter and director Derek Kolstad. It was followed by two sequels, John Wick: Chapter 2 in February 2017 and Jack Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum.

With a combined box office of more than $587 million, all three movies were hailed as critical and financial successes, and the fourth and next instalment, John Wick: Chapter 4, is currently in post-production. It will act as the third instalment of the movie series’ sequel.


One of Hollywood’s up-and-coming actors, Keanu Reeves, will also return to the movie’s lead role of John Wick, a professional hitman and assassin who has built a legendary reputation for his skill set and is currently being sought by the High Table.

Along with him, actresses Rina Sahayama, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick will return in their respective roles as The Bowery King, Winston, Charon, and Akira.

Also cast in key roles are Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgard, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins, and Clancy Brown.


The first teaser for John Wick: Chapter 4 has been released, and it offers tantalizing glimpses of the slick action sequences that fans of the series have come to admire.

The one-minute teaser captures Keanu Reeves’ assassin fighting hordes of enemies with swords, guns, and nunchucks. The film was shot in Japan, the United States, Paris, Berlin, and Jordan. The brief teaser has piqued the interest of franchise fans. “Broooo what a perfect villain to choose,” one of them responded in the comments section. Who would have guessed that John Wick would become one of the greatest action franchises in a long time?” We are also sure this movie gonna break many records of movies.


The movie’s release date has been revealed. Originally set for May 21, 2022, the movie will now officially hit theatres on March 23, 2022, according to a statement made by Lionsgate during Perabellum’s opening week.

Keanu Reeves, who plays the main character in the movie, said he will keep producing sequels as long as movies are profitable. The fourth and fifth instalments were going to be filmed back-to-back, but the franchise’s distributor and owner, Lionsgate, abandoned the idea in March 2021.

The upcoming movie is being directed by Chad Stahelski from a screenplay co-written by Derek Kolstad’s successor, Michael Finch, and Shay Hate. Under the auspices of Thunder Road Pictures and 87North Productions, it is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Stahelski with Reeves and Louise Rosner serving as executive producers.
