Khakee OTT Release Date ( Netflix ), Star Cast, Trailer, Plot

Global OTT juggernaut Netflix is making every effort to make quality content available to its Indian viewers, and as part of this effort, the company has announced a number of films and television programmes, with Khakee being one of its upcoming productions.

Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, billed as a criminal thriller series, is based on some horrifying and heartbreaking real-life occurrences that took place in Bihar in the early 2000s.


The series, which was produced by “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” director Neeraj Pandey, features a large group of talented performers. An important part is played by TV personality and actor Kran Tacker as IPS Amit Lodha.

Following the spy thriller Special OPS from Dinsey+Hotstar, it is the second web series Tacker is working on. He also took part in Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, the sequel. After Special OPS, the series is Tacker and Pandey’s second joint venture.

The adversary in the show is played by “Bulbbul” actor Avinash Tiwari. Additionally, it has prominent performances by Ashutosh Rana, Anup Soni, Avinash Tiwary, Shraddha Das, Nikita Dutta, and Ravi Kishan.


On October 28, 2022, Netflix via Khakee announced its first-ever partnership with celebrated director Neeraj Chopra. A minute-long teaser was also released by the platform, and it began with a voiceover that transported us to a time when Bihar had the highest crime rate and the lowest conviction rate in the nation.

We also observe political upheaval, shootings, violent criminals, and a great deal of turbulence, all of which imply that the series will address the brutality and corruption that the state experienced in the early 2000s. The series, which is based on a true tale, depicts an epic struggle between a terrible criminal and a tenacious detective named IPS Amit Lodha.


The Bhav Dhulia-directed and Friday Storytellers-produced series will soon be available on Netflix. the crime thriller will be available for streaming. Watch it starting on November 25, 2022, Now you can watch the series:
