Liger OTT Release Date
According to News18 and Mirchi 9, one of the most well-known streaming services, Disney+Hotstar, paid a whopping amount of Rs. 65 Crore for the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of the movie. The rumours also stated that Star Network had acquired the post-theatrical satellite rights to the movie.
The movie is currently accessible for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar as of September 22, 2022, but the Hindi version is not. According to sources, the Hindi version won’t be available until October 21st on Disney+ Hotstar.
Liger has been released in theatres, and critics and audiences alike have begun to share their thoughts and comments about the film on the Internet. As soon as the first show of the opening day concluded, social media was flooded with tweets and people on social media sharing their reactions to the film.
The Pan India film has been released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, as well as dubbed Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions. The body transformation of the lead actor, Vijay Deverakonda, who tried to give his best in this film, was the best part of the film.
He characterized an MMA martial artist, with Ananya as his sweetheart. His character is described as a man who stammers. He relocated to Mumbai with his mom to learn MMA fighting. The film focuses on the journey to win a National and International Championship.
The film has received mixed reviews, with some fans congratulating it for its good storyline and Vijay Deverakonda’s acting skills, while others appear to be unimpressed. According to movie fans, the film generated a lot of buzz before its release, but what they actually saw in the theater was not what they expected.
Ramya Krishnan was excellent as Liger’s mother, and Ananya’s performance was like ok. The film has received mixed reviews. Have a look:

#Liger A movie that had potential to be decent is wasted by senseless writing and cringe worthy scenes!
VD tried his best and body transformation is great but his stammering is annoying. Heroine track is awful. Other than a few moments, Nothing else to mention.

Liger Box office collection
Since Vijay Deverakonda is so well-known and has received so much publicity, the movie has gotten off to a flying start in Telugu-speaking states. However, the Telugu audience rejected it on the second day alone due to a decline of nearly 80%.
The movie got off to a strong start in the Hindi region as well, earning respectable money from paid previews. The total sum reached Rs 5.8 crores after it debuted in Hindi with Rs 4.5 crores and made Rs 1.35 crores through previews.
The movie, which had a significant budget, made almost Rs 33.50 crores in just two days of release. Vijay’s movie bombed at the box office and fell far short of the break even point. It still needs about 60 crores, but a poor opening and a subsequent sharp decline solidify its box office failure.
Only a minimum of four weeks after its theatrical premiere, the movie co-produced by Puri Jagannadh’s Puri Connects and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions would be made available on OTT. Everything is dependent on how well the movie does at BO. The OTT launch can be postponed longer than expected if it performs well.
