Manoj Bajpayee was born on 23 April 1969 in Narkatiaganj, Bihar, India, and he has worked in Bollywood movies as well as Tamil and Telugu movies.
He went to Delhi for further studies after passing the 12th class at Maharani Janaki Kunwar College.
He wanted to become an actor since childhood, so while completing his graduation from Ramjas College, Delhi University, he applied 3 times for theater training at the National School of Drama, Delhi but could not get selected.
Manoj was very active in theater during his college studies and after completing his college degree, auditioned for many movies and finally got a small role in the 1994 Bollywood movie Drohkal.
Then after doing small roles in a few movies, he appeared in an important role in the movie Satya (1998) directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and also played the lead role in many movies.
In 2019, Former Indian President Ram Nath Kovind honored Manoj with the Padma Shri Award for his contribution to the movie industry. He has also received many other film awards for excellent acting.
Nowadays Manoj Bajpayee has become a big face of Indian web series and some of his movies are ready to hit the theaters soon this year.
