Masooda Movie OTT Release Date, Box Office Report & Review

Masooda, a Telugu horror drama film directed and written by debutante Sai Kiran, has been released in theaters and is receiving excellent reviews from reviewers and fans.

Sangitha, Thiruveer, and Bandhavi Sridhar play the lead roles, with Kavya Kalyanram, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Akhila Ram, Satyam Rajesh, Satya Prakash, Surya Rao, Surabhi Prabhavathi, Krishna Teja, and Karthik Adusumilli providing support.

The story of the movie centers on Nazia and her mother Neelam, two members of a typical middle-class family who get along well with their software engineer neighbor Gopi Krishna.

Nazia began behaving in a very strange and totally different way, which leaves Neelam and Gopi in stunned shock, and things start to change. Gopi informs Neelam that Nazia is possessed by an evil spirit after seeing her actions. The essence of the narrative is how Gopi assists Neelam in handling this predicament and returning Nazia to normal.

The movie, which was made by Swadharm Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., had a direct box office conflict with movies like Gaalodu, Love Today, Play, and others when it was released on big screens on November 18, 2022. With excellent reviews for the star cast’s performances, it got off to a great start through word of mouth and has kept growing ever since the first performance.

The true mystery is revealed in the second half of the film, which serves as its core.

On its first day, Masooda made Rs. 77 lakh in Telugu states. It increased by 30% the following day, earning Rs. 92 lakh, and by 35–40% the following day, earning Rs. 1.48 lakh. Even though the Monday take fell to Rs. 70 lakh, it nevertheless managed to become the 17th Telugu film of 2022 to be a clean hit.
