Memorial day every year is celebrated on 30 May. This day is mainly for the U.S military who died during serving for the country. This day is observed after world war 1. In 1971 military day was observed on the last Monday of May.  

The day started during the national civil war when people came with flowers in the honor of those who died in the war. The first memorial day was started on 30 May 1868.
