Murder (2004), Gangster (2006), Kites (2010), Barfi! (2012), Ludo (2020) director Anurag Basu is making the sequel of Life in a… Metro (2007) strarrer Kay Kay Menon, Kangana Ranaut, Shiney Ahuja, Konkona Sen Sharma, Shipla Shetty, Sharman Joshi, and late Irfan khan. Apart from this, he is also going to direct Aashiqui 3 and Suriya 45.
On 30 January 2023, the filmmakers announced the title and release date of Metro In Dino, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu under the banner of Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd.
Distributed by T-Series, this is a musical romantic drama film with different storylines and music composed by Pritam. The Shooting started on 15th December 2022 and will be ready to hit the theaters in December 2023.
Metro In Dino Star Cast
Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan are playing the lead roles in this movie written by Anurag Basu. In 2023, Aditya completed the shooting of the upcoming Gumrah and soon this film is also ready to hit the theaters. He has also appeared in Disney Hotstar’s original Hindi web series The Night Manager (2023) opposite Anil Kapoor and the series is a Hindi remake of director Susanne Beer’s 2016 TV series of the same name.
Sara was last seen in Atrangi Re (2021) opposite Akshay Kumar and Dhanush and will next be seen in the lead role in the Laxman Utkar untitled movie opposite VK Kausal. She is also the lead actress in Gaaligat, Ae Watan Mere Watan, and has completed the shooting of both.
Other actors Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh are also playing important roles in Metro In Dino.
Anupam was very happy working with Anurag and by sharing a funny video with the director, he told that this is his 533 rd movie.
