Ola S1 Electric Scooter: Price, Specifications, features

The Ola S1 was presented on 15th AugustĀ as the company is the biggest electric scooter in the country. The scooter, which is a less expensive version of the Ola S1 Pro, was already announced by the company last year.

The electric scooter also includes software features such as music, navigation, a companion app, and reverse mode, as well as support for latest update into MoveOS 3 (which will be available in Diwali) and beyond.

Ola S1 Price In India

According to the company, the Ola S1 price in India is Rs. 99,999, which is an initial ex-showroom price that includes the FAME II subsidy but excludes state subsidies. It will be made available in the following colours: Coral Glam, Jet Black, Liquid Silver, Neo Mint, and Porcelain White.

The Ola S1 is set to go on sale on September 2nd, and delivery times will begin on September 7th. According to Ola, shoppers can also take advantage of EMI options starting at Rs. 2,999, along with a loan approval fee waiver.

Ola has also revealed a new Khaki Green colour option for the Ola S1 Pro. The limited-edition scooter will be produced in 1947 units and will cost Rs. 1,49,999. The ‘Freedom Edition’ Ola S1 Pro will be sold through the Ola app.

Ola S1 Specifications and Features

The Ola S1 is the company’s second-largest sector two-wheeler to make its debut in India, having been confirmed last year. It has a 131km approved range by the Automobiles Research Indian Association (ARAI) and a genuine range of 101km in normal mode, 128km in Eco mode, and 90km in sports mode. The scooter has a 3KWh lithium-ion battery pack and a top speed of 95kmph, as well as a cruise mode and a reverse mode.

The newly released Ola S1 comes with safety features such as an anti-theft alert system and geo-fencing. The scooter will include a battery that is said to be flame retardant as well as water and dust high resistance. The Ola S1 has front and rear disc brakes, as well as a ‘hill hold’ feature that makes riding in traffic and navigating inclines easier. It has 110/70 R12 tyres, a rear mono-shock suspension, and a front single fork suspension.

The Ola S1 is powered by MoveOS 2, which includes navigation, music playback, a companion app, and reverse mode. According to the company, the electric scooter, just like Ola S1 Pro, will receive an upgrade to MoveOS 3 around Diwali, which will include advanced functionality such as moods, digital key sharing, proximity unlock, and improved regen braking, and a documentary feature.
