Ram Charan’s full name is Konidela Ram Charan Teja and people fondly call him Cherry, he was born on 27 March 1985 in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India. His father is Chiranjeevi, a famous actor in the South Film Industry. On June 14, 2012, Ram Charan married his school friend Upasana Kamineni.
Ram made his movie debut in the Telugu hit movie Chirutha (2007) directed by Puri Jagannadh and rose to prominence in the entire Tollywood industry with his second Telugu movie Magadheera (2009) directed by S. S. Rajamouli.
In 2013, he played the lead role in the Bollywood movie Zanjeer opposite Priyanka Chopra but Ram Charan could not succeed in the Bollywood industry, so he focused on Telugu movies.
After this, he acted in some hit Telugu movies which include Naayak (2013), Yevadu (2014), Dhruva (2016), and Rangasthalam (2018), But his 2022 Telugu movie RRR set a new record and became one of the second highest-grossing Indian movies after Baahubali.
