Soon, Akshay Kumar and Bollywood’s most famous serial kisser Emraan Hashmi will be paired up in a comedy-drama movie. It is a remake of the critically acclaimed and financially successful Mollywood comedy-drama Driving License from 2019.
Malayalam star actor Prithviraj Sukumaran will also be debuting through this film, It will be backed by Karan Johar and made under the banner of Dharma Productions in association with Cape Of Good Films.

The movie’s teaser was recently released by the makers, who also revealed via social media accounts that filming will begin soon. Raj Mehta, who also directed Akshay’s commercially successful 2019 film Good News, is the director of Selfiee.
Through his social media accounts, Akshay Kumar also shared the movie’s teaser, writing, “Presenting Selfie, A Journey that Will Drive You Towards Loads of Entertainment, Laughter & Emotions.”

Akshay will portray an actor in the movie, and Emraan will play one of his fans, according to reports, even though the producers haven’t made any announcements about the main lead’s role or the plot.

Speaking of the Dec. 19 release of the Malayalam movie Driving License, it had the lowest budget of just Rs. 4 crores but made about Rs. 30 crores at the box office. Suraj Venjarammoodu and Prithviraj Sukumaran played the main lead roles in the film.
Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames supported it. The movie is accessible on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video if you want to watch it.
Emraan was most recently seen in Chehre, where he appeared alongside Bollywood’s Big-B, Amitabh Bachchan, and in the supernatural horror-thriller Dybbuk. He will next be seen in the third project of the popular Tiger franchise, where he will co-star with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in a spy role.
