In the D23 Expo, the largest Disney fan event hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, one of the top OTT platforms, Disney+Hotstar, revealed a list of its planned projects. The 7th iteration of the event took place from September 9 to September 11, 2022. In addition to several Indian projects for the Hotstar special and the web series Showtime, Disney has some more projects in the works.
Bollywood’s top filmmaker recently revealed a new web series called Showtime that is focused on his favourite topic: Bollywood’s trade secrets. The show was initially mentioned during D23 Expo, and KJO later announced it on social media. He uploaded a quick 41-second show announcement video clip.
What is cinema, we are asked in the video’s narration by the director. wherein when we dream, our eyes are open, and the person in the producer’s chair directs our dreams. Who will therefore usurp Bollywood’s most potent studio? Will it be a youngblood eager for revolution or a grizzled warrior who upholds the status quo? Only one of them will succeed as the emperor of dreams, and the battle lines have already been drawn.
