Tamil Movie Kick Release Date, Star Cast, Trailer, Plot

The bilingual romance comedy “Kick” is directed by Kannada filmmaker Prashant Raj and stars Santhanam from the Tamil language. Prior to then, it went by the working title SANTA15, which was changed in honour of Ganesh Chathurthi.

Prashant Raj makes his Tamil film debut with this, his eighth project as a filmmaker. Naveen Raja is the financier of Kick under the Fortune Films label.

Kick is actor Santhanam’s fifteenth Tamil film; his previous appearance was in the action comedy Gulu Gulu, which received mixed reviews. In addition to Kick, he is currently working on Agent Kannayiram and Server Sundaram, both of which will feature him playing a detective with the working title Detective Kannayiram.

Tanya Hope, who made her acting debut in the 2019 film Thadam, will next be seen in the multi-starrer Gomaal, in which she will co-star with Jiiva, Shiva, and Payal Rajput. Tanya last appeared in the Vicky Donor adaptation directed by Dharala Prabhu in Tamil.

Kick Movie Star Cast

The primary actors in Kick are Santhanam and Tanya Hope (Nayana), and well-known comedian Brahmanandam will play a scientist named Vaali. As per the sources, prominent Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi is also undertaking a cruicial part in the movie.

Kick Movie First Look Poster

Kick was given to SANTA15 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi (Aug. 31) by revealing the movie’s first look poster. Gautham Vasudev Menon, a successful director, made the announcement.

The poster depicts Santa Claus floating in the skies with a banner, money, a water pistol, a flask, a rotating globe, books, a rose in each hand, and a heart symbol. His posture is similar to that of a god’s idol.

Kick Movie Release Date

Kick will be released this year, however, the exact date has not yet been announced. According to the movie’s first look poster, the teaser and the songs will be released soon.

Kick is a bilingual movie that was shot in both Tamil and Kannada at the same time. It has music by Arjun Janya (Bhajarangi 2), cinematography by Sudhakar Raj, editing by Nagooran Ramachandran, and stunt choreography by Ravi Varma and David Castillo.
