Director Aditya Dhar is making this superhero big-budget (225 Crore) Indian movie in which Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Ashwatthama, the warrior of Mahabharata.
Aditya had worked hard for 3 years to collect information for the main character of this movie. Two parts of this film are being made and the shooting of the first is going to start in the summer of 2023.

Who is Ashwatthama
Ashwatthama is the son of Dronacharya, the guru of the Pandavas and Kauravas, and fought against the Padvas like his father during the Mahabharata war.
According to Hindu mythology, he is the only surviving warrior and killed all the sons of Draupadi to avenge his father’s death.
Then Lord Krishna got angry and cursed Ashwatthama to wander on the earth for thousands of years. According to the belief of the people, it is still alive and has been seen many times in the forests.
Star Cast
VK Kaushal will be seen in the role of Ashwatthama while Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the lead actress and the makers are yet to share the details of the other cast.

Produced by Ronnie Screwala, The first part of Immortal Ashwatthama can be released in theaters by the end of 2024 and the second part in 2025. Filmmakers will confirm its date in 2023 last.
