Famous Bollywood director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri regularly offers viewers something fresh and unusual. Despite receiving less promotion and media attention, his most recent film, The Kashmir Files, which was based on the evacuation and killings of Kashmiri Hindus in the valley, became a smash hit.

The movie received positive which encouraged more and more people to go see it in theatres, making it the top-grossing Hindi film of 2022 until the release of Brahmastra: Part 1.

The Tashkent Files, his 2019 movie, took home the National Film Award for Best Dialogue in a Screenplay. He has now, after much ado, disclosed the name of his upcoming work: The Vaccine War.

The Vaccine War pays homage to the science and medical community’s unwavering commitment to saving lives during the worst COVID-19 catastrophe. It will show how the nation’s researchers and medical professionals devoted countless hours to creating a powerful vaccine that could save lives.

The film is made by The Kashmir Files producer Abhishek Agarwal Arts in collaboration with Agnihotri’s wife, Pallavi Joshi, who also backed it together with Agarwal and Agnihotri and played a significant role in TKF.

The Delhi Files is the focus of both Abhishek Agarwal and Agnihotri’s upcoming projects, and they just revealed a Pan-India partnership with Pushpa: The Rise director Sukumar.


The National Award-winning director released a social media announcement for his movie “The Vaccine War” on Thursday, November 11. “Presenting- The Vaccine War- an astonishing factual narrative of a war you didn’t know India fought,” he captioned the photo. And triumphed thanks to its science, bravery, and noble Indian ideals.

Additionally, he posted the movie’s first-look poster, which shows a vaccination vial with the title printed on it. Additionally, the poster states, “A war you weren’t aware India fought and won.

First Time Indian movie will be released in 11 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, and Bhojpuri.


Agnihotri revealed the film’s title and first image in addition to its release date. On August 15, 2023, India’s Independence Day, the movie will have a major cinema debut presented by his I Am Buddha company.

According to reports, it will be the first Indian movie to be released in 11 languages, including versions in Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Telugu with English subtitles.
