Troll: Film Release Date On Netflix, Star Cast, Trailer, Plot

Global OTT juggernaut Netflix is getting ready to debut Troll, the eagerly anticipated Norwegian movie. Troll, billed as an action-adventure film, is helmed by Roar Uthaug, who has previously worked on films like Cold Prey, Escape, The Wave, Tom Raider, etc.

Uthaug claims that he has been mulling on the creation of Troll for the past 20 years. Espen Aukan, whose resume includes work on the films Vikingulven, The Games, and Wettlauger’s Widow, wrote the film’s script.

Marie Wilmann, known for the television series “War Sailor,” Kim Falck, Gard B. Kidsvold, Mads Sjogard Petterson, Pal Richard Lunderby, Pal Anders Nordvi, Eric Vorenholt, and Hugo Nikal Star all had significant roles in the movie.

The movie’s music and background score were written by Johannes Ringen, and it is produced by Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud under the brand of Motion Blur Films.

The action adventure’s Netflix release date was announced as September 2022. On December 1, 2022, Netflix will debut the movie. So that you can enjoy it on the platform, mark the date on your calendar and save it.

In June of this year, the movie’s teaser was released on Netflix, and now the trailer was also made public. The movie’s roughly three-minute-long trailer has some fascinating visuals. An ancient troll is supposedly awakened by an explosion in the Norwegian highlands in the fantasy movie.

A fearless palaeontologist is chosen by authorities to stop it from causing delays, as seen in the trailer. The Norwegian capital is quickly approaching as this enormous behemoth destroys everything in its path. The key to the tale is how they’re going to prevent it from being included.
