Wedding Season Series Disney+Hotstar Release Date, Star Cast

Disney Plus Hotstar, a widely known OTT network and service known for numerous types and showing promising content to its viewers, is set to scheduled to release another original series named Wedding Season.

The series, billed as an action comedy romantic thriller is directed by George Kate and screenplay written by Oliver Lyttelton. It should not be confused with the Tom Dey-directed Netflix film Wedding Season, which starred Pallavi Sharda and Suraj Sharma in the lead roles and was officially launched on the streaming service on August 4, 2022.

Chris Carey, Laurence Bowen, Toby Bruce, Brooke Posch, Lilly Burns, Tony Hernandez, and Johanna Devereaux executive produce the upcoming series.

Wedding Season Trailer

The Wedding Season series trailer is officially available. The genre-bending series follows Katie and Stefen, two lovers who meet at a wedding just before Katie’s own wedding to anybody else. Katie’s husband and his family are murdered just two months later, at her wedding.

The police believe Stefen did it, while Stefen believes Katie did it, and no one knows who the true murderer is. The series is an action-packed romp through the United Kingdom and the States as Katie and Stefen flee to prove their innocence.

Wedding Season Star Cast

The series’ lead character, Katie, is played by American-Canadian actress Rosa Salazar. She is known best for her roles in the NBC sitcom Parenthood and the FX anthology show American Horror Story: Murder House.

In the series, Gavin Drea plays Katie’s partner, Stefan. George Webster plays Hugo Delaney, Jade Harrison plays DCI Metts, Jamie Michie plays DI Donahue, and Ivan Kaye plays Mr. Delaney. Callie Cooke, Bhav Joshi, Ioanna Kimbrook, and Omar Baroud also play important roles in the series.

Wedding Season Disney+ Hotstar Release Date

The series’ creators have finally exposed a release date. The eight-episode series, produced by Jax Media and Disney Ledge Productions, will officially launch on Hulu in the U.s and Disney Plus worldwide on September 8, 2022.

All subscribers of Disney Plus can watch this series on the same day including India, the USA, and all other country entertainment fans.
