World Forest Day- History, Aim and Quotes

Every year world Forest day celebrates 21 March. The International Day of Forest was established on 21 March, by resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on November 28, 2012.

World Day of Forest was observed for the first time on March 21, 2013.

Each time, colorful events celebrate and raise mindfulness of the significance of all types of Forest, and trees outside the Forest, for the benefit of current and unborn generations.

Countries are encouraged to shoulder sweats to organize original, public, and transnational conditioning involving Forest and trees, similar to tree planting juggernauts, on International Day of Forest.

The Secretariat of the United Nations Forum Forest, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization, facilitates the perpetration of similar events in collaboration with governments, the Collaborative Partnership on Forest, and transnational, indigenous, and subregional associations.

What we do for the forest on World forest day-

1- Protect forest from fire, mining, and other natural calamities

2- Find out the areas where reforestation can be done.

3- Categorization of forest areas and proper delimitation of reserved forest areas.

4- Develop parks
