Baby John is an upcoming high-action film starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead role. Directed by filmmaker Kalees, this film was earlier known as VD18 but the makers announced the title of the film as Baby John by sharing a 65-second video on 5 February.
Jointly produced by Atlee, Priya Atlee, Jyoti Deshpande, and Murad Khetani, the film stars Jackie Shroff, Upendra Limaye, Rajpal Naurang Yadav, Manikandan K. and Sheeba Chaddha in important roles. Music in Baby John has been given by popular musician S. Thaman, cinematographer Kiran Koushik has done the cinematography work, while Deepak Tyagi has done the work on special effects.
The shooting of this 18th film of Varun Dhawan started in different cities of India in 2023. In December 2023, Varun suffered a leg injury while shooting an action scene in Kerala. Now the film is ready to hit the theater in May 2024.

Baby John Makers & Crew Members
Kalees is the director and writer of the film. He has previously directed Kee (2019) in which Jiiva and Nikki Galrani were in the lead roles. Atlee, Priya Atlee, Jyoti Deshpande, and Murad Khetani have produced Baby John under the banner of Cine1 Studios, Apple Studios production, and Jio Studios while Jatin Pawan Girotra and Amit Tomar are executive it’s producers.
S. Thaman has composed the music, Sumit Arora has written the dialogues, Michael (2023) fame cinematographer Kiran Koushik has done the cinematography, and Deepak Tyagi has done the special effects work. Yannick Ben and Sunil Rodrigues have directed the action scenes and Rohit Gopal Jadhav has worked with Shambhavee Pendse as second assistant director.
Baby John Release Date
Today, along with revealing the title of Baby John, the makers have also announced the release date by sharing a video. The film will be released theatrically on May 31, 2024. In the video shared by Jio Studio, Varun is shown sitting on a chair adorned with weapons and firing at the enemies. Awesome Baby John music is also playing in the background which gives a feeling of vibration in the body.
