Anubhav Sinha who made his directorial debut with the Bollywood movie Tum Bin (2001) is directing the social drama movie Bheed starring Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. Anubhav has previously made many movies like Ra.One (2011), Article 15 (2019), Thappad (2020) and Anek (2022), etc
Bheed’s story is based on the problems and contradictions in the difficult times of the country, written together by Sonali Jain, Anubhav Sinha, and Saumya Tiwari. Distributed by Yash Raj Films and Reliance Entertainment, the film is produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series, Banaras Media Works.
Cinematography is done by Soumik Mukherjee, editing by Atanu Mukherjee, and music is composed by Mangesh Dhakade. Saumik has previously done cinematography work for Maroon (2017), Batla House (2019), Thappad (2020), and Attack (2022) while Mangesh has composed music for Mulk (2018), and Anek (2022)
The shooting of this movie with a budget of 27 crores started in November 2021 in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, and is now ready to hit the theaters on March 2023.

On February 1, 2023, actress Bhumi confirmed the release date of Bheed as 24th March 2023 with her Twitter handle. In this tweet, director Anubhav is seen explaining the movie script to the stars.

Its digital rights have not yet been taken by any online streaming service and we will share the information with you here as soon as the movie is ready for release on any other platform. According to some sources, it may be available in Disney Hotstar on May 2023 but confirmation is yet to come.
Star Cast
Rajkummar Rao is playing the role of a police officer and Bhumi Pednekar is playing his girlfriend. Both actors have previously worked together in Harshavardhan Kulkarni’s film Badhaai Do (2022).
