1- Barkha Madan
Barkha Madan is a successful former, model, film producer, and actress who has become a Buddhist nun and changed her name to Ven Gyalten Samten.
Born on August 9, 1974, in Punjab, Gyalten Samten won the title of Miss Tourism India and started her acting career with the blockbuster film Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) directed by Umesh Mehra in which Rekha Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon played the lead roles.
She also appeared in 20 TV shows and became a very popular face of the television industry, as well as producing two films Soch Lo and Surkhaab by opening a production company named Golden Gate LLC.
During her work, Gyalten became attracted to Buddhism and was greatly influenced by the ideologies of the Dalai Lama and became a Buddhist nun on 4 November 2012, receiving initiation from Sera Je Monastery under the supervision of Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
2- Nupur Alankar
Born on 25 November 1972 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, and raised in Mumbai India, Nupur Alankar has worked in popular 157 TV shows like Shaktimaan, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, and Tantra and also appeared in films like Raja Ji, Saawariya, and Sonali Cable But being bored with the glittering world, she became a Sanyasini on February 2022 in search of God.

3- Anu Aggarwal
Born on 11 January 1969 in New Delhi, former actress and model Anu Aggarwal was fond of acting since childhood and used to do a lot of theater during school time.
After completing her education, she did modeling for some time and then entered the television world with Doordarshan’s serial Isi Bahane (1988).
Then Anu Aggarwal made her Bollywood debut as a lead actress in 1990 with the film Aashiqui and appeared in Hindi movies like Ghazab Tamasha, King Uncle, Khal-Naikaa, Janam Kundli, Ram Shastra, and also in the Tamil film Thiruda Thiruda.
Since joining the Bihar School of Yoga in 1997, she became very attracted to yoga because she had been a Karmayogi there. 4- Sofia Hayat
Born on 6 December 1984 in London, United Kingdom to a Muslim family, actress, model, and singer Sofia Hayat made her acting debut in 2003 with the British comedy program Absolute Power.
Then after appearing in many British television programs, she also appeared in some Hindi television shows and in 2013 became very famous among the Indian public as a participant in the reality show Bigg Boss 7.
Sophia converted to Catholicism in 2010 and after a few years in the industry, announced in June 2016 through a post on her social media account that she is now turning to spirituality and has become a nun.
5- Sana Khan
Beautiful former actress Sana Khan, who has appeared in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and a Kannada film as well as many television programs, announced on 8 October 2020 that she would no longer work in the entertainment industry and follow the path of righteousness.

7- Mamta Kulkarni
Born on 20 April 1972 in a Marathi Brahmin family in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, former Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni made her acting debut in the film Tirangaa (1992) and appeared in many hit films such as Aashiq Awara (1993), Waqt Hamara Hai (1993), Krantiveer (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Baazi (1996), etc but after working in Kabhie Tum Kabhie Hum (2022) directed by Roop Dutta Naik, said goodbye to her acting career and became a Sadhvi.
This actress has also been in many controversies since 2016 because the Thane police of Maharashtra state of India found Mamta Kulkarni and her partner Vicky Goswami involved in drug trafficking worth 2000 crores.
A special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court had also declared Kulkarni and Goswami guilty and ordered the attachment of their properties.
Although Mamta remained in jail in the drug smuggling case, but was released after some time and according to some reports, she is currently living in Kenya.

10- Gagan Malik
Gagan Malik, popular for playing the character of Lord Ram in Zee TV’s Ramayan, has now become a monk and is following the path of Buddha. Let us tell you that this actor converted to Buddhism in 2014 on Poson Poya Day in Sri Lanka and since then his faith in Buddhism was increasing.
