Indian actress, producer, and Miss World 2000 winner Priyanka Chopra was born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar.
Her parents Ashok and Madhu Chopra were physicians in the Indian Army and were posted for duty in different cities of India, due to which Priyanka got her education in many different schools.
While completing her high school education from Army Public School, Bareilly, the actress won many local Queen beauty pageants and decided to pursue a career in modeling.
In the year 2000, Priyanka participated in the Femina Miss India contest and stood second. In the same year, she participated in the Miss World 2000 contest & won the Miss World pageant, and became the winner of Miss World 2000.
After winning the title of Miss World, she started getting offers to work in many films and started her acting career with Abbas Mustan’s Humraaz (2002).
