Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as the King of Bollywood, will soon be seen in the upcoming courtroom drama thriller film Section 84.

Netflix’s web series Bard of Blood (2019) fame director Ribhu Dasgupta is directing this film and last time he directed Code Name Tiranga (2022) starring Parineeti Chopra, Hriday Sandhu, and Sharad Kelkar.

Section 84 is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Film Hangar, and Saraswati Entertainment in association with Jio Studios.

On March 1, 2023, Big B announced the film by sharing a 15-second video from his official Twitter account and wrote in the caption- “T 4572 – .. It is a pleasure to work with eminent creative minds in a film once again, and the challenge of this film instigates me to do better”.

It is written in the video- “ Amitabh Bachchan In Section 84! Written & Directed By Ribhu Dasgupta”.

Dasgupta tells the media that- “I feel very happy, blessed, and honored to work with Amitabh sir again! Now looking forward to film work.

Big B has previously worked with Dasgupta in the films Yudh (2014) and T3N (2016) and this is their third film together.

Amitabh Bachchan is playing the character of a lawyer and earlier he was also seen in Runway 34 as a lawyer. Some more upcoming movies of Big B are also ready to hit the theaters soon which include Ganapath-Part 1, Project K, and Krrish 4 starring Hrithik Roshan.
