Shahid Kapoor is one of the top 10 actors of Bollywood who was born on 25 February 1981 in the country’s capital Delhi. Do you know his second name is Shahid Khattar?

He is the son of well-known Bollywood actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. When he was only 3 years old, his parents got divorced, his father Pankaj got married to actress Supriya Pathak in 1988 and his mother Neelima Azeem also got married to Rajesh Khattar.

Shahid Kapoor has three siblings namely Ishaan Khattar (Son of Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem), Ruhaan Kapoor (Son of Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak), and Sanah Kapoor (daughter of Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak).

On July 7, 2015, Shahid married Meera Rajput and now they have two children named Misa and Zain.

Shaheed loved to dance since childhood and joined Shiamak Davar’s dance institute when he was 15 years old. Before making a career in Bollywood, he had to struggle a lot and worked as a background dancer in some movies, these movies are Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) and Taal (1999) which were choreographed by Shiamak Davar.

After working hard for a few years, he got a chance to work as a lead actor in the first film of his career, Ishq Vishk (2003). Amrita Rao was in the role of the lead actress in this film.  Shahid gave a very good performance in this film, for which he was also awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

The turning point of his life came from the super hit movie Vivah. And then it did not look back and gave many hit movies like Jab We Met (2007), Udta Punjab (2016), Padmavat (2018), Kabir Singh (2019), etc

Shaheed Kapoor will be seen romancing Bollywood’s beautiful actress Kriti Sanon in this untitled film being directed by Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah.
