The Nun 2 Release Date, OTT, Star Cast, Trailer & More Update
If you are a fan of horror movies and have seen The Nun (2019), then there is very good news for you, the second part of Nun is going to hit the big screen soon. The work on the film started in mid-2022 and was completed in December 2022.
The Nun directed by Corin Hardy is one of the scariest horror movies of 2019 and collected $365.6 million at the box office on a budget of $22 million.
Now its sequel is being directed by Michael Chaves who previously directed The Curse of La Llorona (2019) and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021).
Akela Cooper has written the story of this film while Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and Akela Cooper have done the screenplay. James Van, Peter Safran, and Judson Scott produced it under the banner of New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster Productions, and The Safran Company.
Tristan Neeby Handles Cinematography and is Distributed Worldwide by Warner Bros Pictures.
Star Cast
Taissa Farming and Bonnie Aarons will reprise their roles. In the first part, Taissa played the role of Sister Irene and Bonnie played The Nun. It is not confirmed whether Patrick Wilson will appear in Noon 2 or not and in the first part he played the role of Bonnie’s husband who used to perform exorcisms.
:- Storm Reid as Lisa, In 2023, she was also seen in the American thriller Missing.
:- Anna Popplewell plays the character of Kate and she was last seen in Fairytale (2022).
:- Katelyn Rose Downey plays Sophie and Jonas Bloquet plays Maurice Theriault (Frenchie).
Jonas Bloket is a very talented actor and has worked in many TV serials as well as movies. He will also be seen in Netflix’s upcoming web series 1899 which will be released on 7 November on the OTTplatform only.

In this sequel, Nun and Sister Rene will face the demon Valak together and to know the full story of this movie you will have to wait a bit because Nun 2 will be released in theaters on 7th September 2023.

According to the source, The film will be available to watch on the OTT platform Amazon Prime 60 days after its theatrical release but the streaming service and OTT date is yet to be confirmed by the makers.

On April 29, 2022, James Van also shared an image of the set, in which Bonnie is looking very scary in makeup.
