Aishwarya was born on 1 November 1976 in Mangaluru city of Karnataka. Her father’s name is Krishnaraj Rai (Army Biologist) who died of cancer in 18 March 2017 and her mother’s name is Vrinda Rai (Script Writer) who wrote the script for the 2002 movie Dil Ka Rishta.

Aishwarya Rai also has a brother named Aditya Rai and he is an engineer in the merchant navy by profession. Aishwarya Rai married Abhishek Bachchan on 20 April 2007 and in 2007 a girl child was born to them named Aaradhya.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan started her film career with Mani Ratnam’s successful Tamil movie Iruvar (1997). This movie also stars Mohanlal, Prakash Raj, Tabu and Revathi in lead roles. In the same year, Aish got a chance to work with Bobby Deol in the first Bollywood movie named Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya.
