Padma Shri Award-winning Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is directing and playing the lead role in Hindi Movie Emergency.
Its story is based on the Emergency imposed in the entire country from 25 June 1975 to 21 March 1977 by the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi and that time is known as the worst history of India after independence.
The shooting of this film started in July 2022 and has been completed in January 2023 this year. Jaiyanth Vasanth Sinha is the associate writer of this historical movie and Tanvi Kesari Pasmarthya has written the dialogues while Ritesh Shah has penned the screenplay.
It is being produced by Renu Pitti, and Kangana Ranaut under the banner of Manikarnika Films, and Samir Khurana is its executive producer.

On 24th January 2023 filmmakers shared a 1-minute 13-second release date announcement video so all of you are ready to watch the film based on the worst incident that happened after India’s independence in theaters on 14 June 2024.
If we talk about the OTT platform, currently no online streaming service has bought the digital rights of the movie, but according to our source, it will be available to watch on Netflix in August 2024.
