Indian actress Catherine Tresa was born on 10 September 1989 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Malayali origin father Frank Mario Alexander, and mother Tresa Alexander.
Actress Catherine, who belongs to Christianity, came to India after completing her intermediate education in Dubai and completed her graduation in Bangalore.
Since studying in school, she was very active in playing piano, singing, dancing, ice skating, modeling, and debating.
She continued modeling after coming to India and modeled for some big brands like Fast Track, Josco Jewelers, and Deccan Chronicle.
In 2010, she started her acting career with the Kannada film Shankar IPS, directed by M. S. Ramesh, in which she played the lead role opposite Duniya Vijay.
The same year she also appeared in the Malayalam film The Thriller opposite Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.
Then after working in Uppukandam Brothers: Back in Action (2012) and Godfather (2012), Catherine made her Tollywood debut with Chammak Challo (2013), a Telugu film directed by Neelakanta.
After appearing in two more Telugu films Iddarammayilatho (2013) and Paisa (2013), the actress made her Kollywood debut with the Tamil film Madras (2014) directed by Pa. Ranjith and continued to appear in Telugu and Tamil films.
Last time Catherine was seen in Bobby Kolli’s Telugu film Waltair Veerayya which was a blockbuster with collecting 225.70 Crore at the box office.
