Popular director and screenwriter of the South Indian cinema industry Gandrothu Veera Venkata Vinayaka Rao is making a Hindi remake of the Telugu film Chhatrapati (2005) directed by S. S. Rajamouli starring Prabhas and Shriya Saran. Made in 12.5 crores, this film had a box office collection of 22 crores, and its rating on IMDb is 7.6 out of 10.
Talking about the Hindi remake, it is ready to hit the theaters in May 2023 starring Nushrratt Bharuccha and Telugu actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in lead roles.
This film can be the turning point of the actors’ careers because both the lead actors have not yet gotten much recognition in the movie industry. This film marks the director and actor Bellamkonda Srinivas working together for the second time after Alludu Seenu (2014).

Bellamkonda Srinivas started his film career with the Telugu film Alludu Seenu (2004) and was last seen in Alludu Adhuras (2021).
Chatrapathi Hindi remake is Bellamkonda’s first Hindi movie in which he will be seen romancing Dream Girl star Nushrratt Bharukachha.
Talented actress Nushrratt’s two movies Chhorii 2 and Akeli are also ready to hit the theaters and their shooting is complete.
Actors Karan Singh Chhabra, Vedika Navani, and Sahil Vaid are playing important roles in Chhatrapati while Auroshikha Dey, Swapnil kiiran Kotriwar, Rajendra Gupta, Amit Shivdas Nair, Monazir Khan, Ashish Singh, Shivam Patil, Anup Ingle, and Mohamad Mouzeer will also be seen.

In its original story, violent people of a community attack a village, due to which a mother is separated from one of her children that child grows up and meets his mother and saves the people of the village from the violent community people.
