Dukaan trailer out & Ready to Release on cinema

Animal Fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has launched the trailer of Dukaan based on surrogacy at an event in Mumbai. The film will be released in theaters on April 5, 2024.

Well-known screenwriters and lyricists Siddharth Singh and Garima Wahal have started their directorial career with this film. Both of them have previously worked on the story of the blockbuster Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela and Kabir Singh and in the music department of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal.

The two-minute 39-second long trailer released shows that the film is about women from a small village in Gujarat becoming surrogate mothers. The trailer begins with Monica Panwar’s character Jasmine talking to a child in a Gujarati accent, and saying “Our love story is a triangle.” Then she shows the picture of the child’s parents and says that she is the third person in the triangle. I am India’s first child-producing machine. no emotion. Just saying it is a profession and in the end showing affection towards the child, some scenes are full of comedy.

Monika Panwar is playing the lead role in Dukaan. She has worked in high-rated films like Super 30 and Mast Mein Rehne Ka while she has also appeared in the television series Class of ’83 and Choona.

All About Dukaan Film

Directed and written by Siddharth Singh and Garima Wahal, this film is based on a woman from Gujarat who became India’s first surrogate mother. Set to release in theaters on April 5, 2024, the film is being produced by Siddharth Singh, Garima Wahal, Jhunj Hunwala and SK Ahluwalia under the banners of Waveband Productions and Kalamkaar Picture Productions. Shreyas Puranik composed the music and Anirban Chatterjee did the cinematography.
