How Shahrukh Khan Met Gauri
Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan are childhood sweethearts and their love story is like a movie story.
Bollywood romantic king Shahrukh Khan met Gauri for the first time at the age of 18 at a party thrown by his friend in Delhi in 1984.
At that time 14-year-old Gauri was dancing with her friend, seeing which Shahrukh was very impressed and asked her to dance with him but Gauri refused and said that she is waiting for her boyfriend.
Shahrukh felt very bad after hearing this, but when King Khan came to know that Gauri is actually waiting for her brother, So he heaved a sigh of relief and the possibility of starting a loving relationship with Gauri resurfaced.
Gradually Shahrukh and Gauri became friends and both started spending more and more time with each other.
As the closeness increased, the love between the two also increased, but there were some twists and problems in their love story.
Gauri’s parents were hesitant and refused to have an interfaith relationship, while Shah Rukh did not like Gauri talking to other boys and became very possessive for her.
Due to all these reasons, Gauri started feeling that there was no future for their love and without informing King Khan, she went to Mumbai to make a career with her friends on the very next day of his birthday.
Shahrukh was deeply saddened by Gauri’s sudden departure without informing him and he took Rs 10,000 from his mother and went to Mumbai to find Gauri.
King Khan searched for his queen at different places in Mumbai and finally met each other at the beaches, Gauri’s favorite spot.
Even after being busy in their careers, both of them kept in touch with each other and after the death of Shahrukh’s mother, Gauri made up her mind to live with King Khan.
Shahrukh also convinced Gauri’s parents and on 25 October 1991 both of them got married.
Gauri proved to be a lucky charm for King Khan as after a year of their marriage, Shah Rukh made his Bollywood debut with the film Deewana (1992).
At present, Shahrukh Khan is on the list of the world’s richest and most famous actors, while Gauri has also made a good mark in the form of fashion designing, interior design, film production, and fashion designer.
Recently Gauri Khan produced Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan movie under the banner of her production house Red Chillies Entertainment.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan together formed this production house in 2002 which is now amongst the top 10 film production companies in India.
