Huma Qureshi was born on 28 July 1986 in New Delhi, India and her full name are Huma Saleem Qureshi.
She took acting training from Act 1 theater group after completing her Bachelor’s degree in History with Honors from the Gargi College University of Delhi.
In 2008, She came to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting and started shooting for commercial products along with giving movie auditions.
Meanwhile, director Anurag Kashyap saw her in the shoot for Samsung Mobile and got impressed by her acting and signed Huma for his upcoming 3 movies.
Hum Qureshi made her movie debut with a supporting role in Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), directed by Anurag Kashyap. The same year, after working in Gangs of Wasseypur 2, she appeared in the lead role in the movie Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana.
Huma then played lead and supporting roles in many Bollywood and South movies, including Shorts (2013), Dedh Ishqiya (2014), Badlapur (2015), Highway (2015), Jolly LLB 2 (2017), Dobaara: See Your Evil ( 2017), Kaala (2018), Double XL (2022), Valimai (2022) and many more.
She made her digital debut in 2019 with Netflix’s web series Leila and then appeared in SonyLIV’s web series Maharani (2021).

Huma Qureshi will be seen playing the lead role in this movie directed by Piyush Gupta. Ronnie Screwvala, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, and Nitesh Tiwari are producing this movie based on the life of cook Tarla Dalal.
According to media reports, this movie will be ready to hit the theaters in October 2023, but the release date has not yet been shared by the filmmakers.

Director Navjot Gulati is directing this comedy and romantic movie. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the movie stars Huma Qureshi and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles and Vikram Singh Chauhan in an important role alongside Vijay Raaz.
