Director Todd Phillips is helming the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster musical-thriller Joker and is set to begin shooting in December 2022. This popular character based on the DC comic has been seen in many superhero movies but Joker is not a superhero film.
In July 2022, Phillips announced to the media that he was making a sequel to Joker and that the script had been completed with Scott Silver. The title of this film is Joker: Folia Dex and if we talk about its first part, then the film was made with a budget of $ 55–70 million and had a box office collection of $ 1.074 billion and the makers are making this sequel in the budget of $150 million.
Directed by Todd Phillips, Cinematography is being done by Lawrence Sher and Hildur Guðnadóttir is composing the music. The filmmakers and crew members are reuniting after Joker and Warner Bros. Pictures is distributing it worldwide.
