Seeing the success of Lock Upp season 1, producer Ekta Kapoor is coming up with its second season, which is again being hosted by Kangana Ranaut.
Season one premiered on 27 February 2022 and ran for 70 days with a total of 71 episodes in which Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui was the winner while actress & model Payal Rohatgi was the first runner-up. Munawar won the trophy, Rs 20 lakh, and a car as the winner’s prize.
Lock Upp was the most-watched reality show of 2022 on the ott platform with up to 300 million views. In Lock Upp Season 2, the contestants will have to impress the audience and Queen Kangana Ranaut with different tasks, personalities, and behavior to win.
The show is being produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of ALTBalaji and Kangana will host the show as a queen. The contestants will be seen entertaining the audience for 70 days and some will be eliminated every week.

The show will premiere in March 2023 last on Ott apps Alt Balaji and MX Player and this time Kangana can bring something new theme for the audience and Contestants. This time it has to be seen who will be the jailer because the last list was Karan Kundrra.
