Malayalam film superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming period action Malaikottai Vaaliban release date has been announced.
Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, the film also stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, and Manikandan R. Achari.
After announcing the film on 25 October 2022, the makers announced the title on 22 December and along with the pooja function on 18 January 2023, the shooting continued for 150 days in different locations of Rajasthan, Chennai, and Pondicherry.

Mohanlal has confirmed the release date of Malaikottai Vaaliban by sharing the poster on Twitter on 18 September 2023.

Rafeeque and directed by (Master Of Chaos) Lijo Jose Pellissery, Malaikottai Vaaliban is produced by Shibu Baby John and Kochumon under the banner of John & Mary Creative, Century Films, Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments, and Amen Movie Monastery. Century Films is distributing it worldwide.
Pellissery is also its CO producer while Don (2006), Annayum Rasoolum (2013) and Njan Steve Lopez (2014) famous cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan has done the cinematography.
Prashant Pillai has composed the music, Deepu Joseph has done the editing, Gokul Das has done the art direction and Sujith Sudhakaran has done the costume design.
Vikram Mor handled the stunts, he is best known for K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018), Kantara (2022), and 777 Charlie (2022).

Makers may release its first teaser in November 2023 and the trailer will be out in early January 2024.
