According to reports, the movie will premiere in theatres in mid-2022, following Pawan’s other movie, Bheemla Nayak, which comes out in January 2022.

Produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, it is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s book of the same name. Due to financial difficulties, the movie was put on hold in 2010, but Lyca Productions decided to pick it back up in 2019. There are two parts to the movie.
